This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit or interact with our website and services, including ReviewXpert, SentimentXpert, TokenReviewX, Google Business Profile (GBP) Management tools, the GardenX community exchange module, and other features (collectively, “the Service”).

1. Information We Collect We collect the following types of information:

  • a. Non-Personal Data

    • Browsing activity and usage patterns.

    • Device and browser information.

    • IP address (for analytics and security).

    • Referral source and general location (city-level, via IP).

  • b. User-Supplied & Connected Account Information

    • Contact & Account Information: Email address, name, and profile details provided when you subscribe, sign up, or contact us.

    • Google Business Profile (GBP) Data: When you explicitly authorize and connect your Google Account via OAuth, we collect and process account identifiers, managed location resource names, profile details (business name, address, phone numbers, website URL), and customer review feeds necessary to deliver profile management and automated review response features.

    • GardenX Listing Data: Information you voluntarily provide to publish plant listings, including photos, descriptions, pricing, general location parameters, and preferred communication metadata.

  • c. Automatically Collected Data

    • Cookies and similar technologies for session tracking, analytics, and personalization.

    • API authentication tokens (stored securely in encrypted sessions to maintain third-party connections like GBP without storing user passwords).

    • Data collected via third-party services like Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and performance tracking tools.

2. Review Data, Public Content & API Processing

  • Public Scraped Reviews: We analyze publicly available reviews from search engines and third-party platforms. Our AI models extract and summarize insights such as sentiment trends, keyword patterns, and common themes.

  • Authenticated Location Data (GBP API): Customer reviews fetched via your connected Google Business Profile are processed securely to generate AI review responses and executive summaries. We do not sell, license, or monetize your private account reviews or Google OAuth tokens.

  • Peer-to-Peer Directory Content: User-generated listings posted natively to the GardenX community directory are securely retained in our database to remain visible to potential local buyers until modified or removed by the listing owner.

  • Users must ensure that any URLs, review content, or plant listing details they submit comply with the terms of the respective source platforms.

3. Use of Collected Data We use collected data to:

  • Deliver insights, executive sentiment summaries, and location intelligence.

  • Enable Reputation Management: Allow users to view, edit, and update their verified Google Business Profiles and post AI-assisted review replies back to Google APIs upon user approval.

  • Facilitate Local Discovery: Display GardenX plant listings to nearby community members and route voluntary interest links natively to communication APIs (such as WhatsApp) without exposing users' private contact numbers on public-facing directory layout screens.

  • Improve service performance, prompt accuracy, and user experience.

  • Monitor security, enforce rate limits, and prevent API abuse.

  • Display relevant ads (e.g., via Google AdSense).

  • Understand user behavior and platform interaction through aggregate analytics.


4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to:

  • Maintain session state

  • Track usage analytics (via Google Analytics)

  • Serve ads personalized to your browsing behavior (via Google AdSense)

5. Third-Party Services & Google API Data Policy

  • Independent Operation: While LocationReviewX integrates with and analyzes data from third-party platforms (including Google services), LocationReviewX is an independent entity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or any of its subsidiaries. All trademarks, service marks, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

  • Google API Data Usage & Limited Use Compliance: LocationReviewX’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs (including Google Business Profile API and Google OAuth) will strictly adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Scope of Google User Data Processing:

    • We access Google User Data (such as account profiles, managed location resources, business details, and location reviews) solely to provide and improve your user-facing features—specifically profile editing, performance intelligence, and review response drafting.

    • We do not use Google API data for serving advertisements, nor do we transfer or sell Google User Data to third parties, data brokers, or information resellers.

    • Human interaction with Google User Data is restricted strictly to security investigations, technical bug fixes, compliance audits, or instances where you provide explicit consent to debug a specific account issue.

  • Token Storage & Security: Authentication tokens (such as OAuth refresh tokens) acquired through Google authorization flow are stored securely using encryption mechanisms to maintain continuous service synchronization without storing your actual account passwords. You may revoke access to your Google Business Profile data at any time via your Google Account Security Settings or directly within the LocationReviewX account panel.

We use third-party services that may collect or process data:

  • Google AdSense – for personalized or non-personalized advertising

  • Google Analytics – for traffic and behavior analysis

  • Hotjar (optional) – for behavior heatmaps and UX improvements

  • Crawlbase or Scraper APIs – used to fetch public reviews (without storage)

We do not control these services and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
